Research at Universidad de los Andes has an important international character, given that close to 60% of our research products are created in collaboration with our foreign partners. This is an invaluable feature that we want to continue to promote and strengthen. Thus, the internationalization of research at Uniandes has been one of the prominent points of our Institutional Development Plan (PDI 2016-2020).

The area of International Research Collaboration at the Office of International Affairs looks to facilitate research and creative collaboration at an international level at an increasing rate, all while in accordance with the guidelines of internationalization and research at the university. This task is implemented with support from the Vice-presidency of Research, the Office of International Affairs and the researchers and staff of our various faculties.
